General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems – Canada (General Dynamics-OTS Canada) Research and Development department has a metallurgy lab with:

• Optical microscopes with image analysis 
• Hardness testers, including micro–hardness 
• Tensile tester

We have expertise in: 

• Molding of thermoplastics, including frangible materials 
• Formability of metals 
• Powder metallurgy 
• Non-destructive testing (PT, UT, RT). 
• Fracture and failure analysis (facies analysis, SEM, XRD) 
• Corrosion testing
